An advertising campaign by Waldkirchen council intends to communicate the town's regional electricity offer, with the aim of acquiring new customers and increasing loyalty amongst existing customers.
With the campaign motto: »My Waldkirchen. My home. My electricity.«, SCHUPPAN CREATIVE SOLUTIONS developed a dual-stage circular promotion accompanied cross-medially by adverts in the regional daily newspapers, as well as with press reports, promotional campaigns and social conversations.
ELECTRICITY FROM THE FOREST
The wording and key visual of the campaign focus on the people of Waldkirchen's affiliation with their home, the »forest«. In the use of language, this stands for the Bavarian forest in general and for the »forest« as a concept of home. Due to the fact that the electricity is mainly generated from natural, regional resources – such as from the Saußbachklamm hydropower station – the image and text not only harmonize from a design point of view, but also with regard to contents.
ELECTRICITY FOR EVERYONE
A square flyer in an envelope, which provides information about the benefits of the regional electricity offer, was distributed to all Waldkirchen addresses and households in the surrounding region as a multi-stage circular. The results were prompt electricity registrations and a positive image transfer amongst the population.

Parallel to the mailing campaign, adverts were published in the daily press and regional weekly papers.
